World Series Prediction
3 Keys to the series:
1) Which starting rotation will be able to slow down these high-octane offenses?
2) Which bullpen will be more consistent?
3) Can the Cardinals stop Nelson Cruz?- (I think not.)
ANALYSIS
This series will feature two of the best hitters in the game: Albert Pujols and Nelson Cruz. Expect these games to be high scoring, which calls for some exciting baseball! Carpenter and Pujols will certainly do their part, but the Cardinals line-up will not score enough runs to keep up with the Rangers.
PREDICTION:
RANGERS over Cardinals in 6 games.

Titans Overview Heading into Week 4
Heading into week 4 against the Cleveland Browns, the Titans sport a 2-1 record, with victories versus the Ravens and Broncos, and a week 1 loss to the Jaguars. Matt Hasselbeck, our veteran quarterback, has played tremendously and was a great offseason pickup. He has already thrown for 932 yards and 5 TD's, and has shown leadership on the field.
Chris Johnson has done close to nothing. Here are his stats through 3 games: 46 carries, 98 yards, no TD's. Not exactly worth the 53.5 million dollars we payed him. And it's not the offensive line's fault, nor is it because of a lack of a passing game; it's all on him. The lockout clearly hurt him, BAD. Yet Johnson is an all-world talent: He will get back on track, maybe as soon as this week vs the Browns.
A huge blow to our team was Kenny Britt being put on the IR with a torn ACL and MCL. Britt lead the AFC in receiving before the injury, and was going on to having a monster season.
Finally, on to the defense. The Titans' defense is the number 1 ranked D in the entire league, averaging barely 261 yards per game. Akeem Ayers has played well as a rookie, and Barret Ruud, our free-agent pickup, has been stellar at MLB. Finally, our secondary has been fantastic. Names like Finnegan, Griffin, and the up-and-coming Jason McCourty have all but shut down opponent's passing games.
For this week, I expect the Titans to win on the road against the Browns, 17-14. The key to the game is stopping Peyton Hillis. It;s simple: If we stop Hillis, we win the game. As for CJ2K, expect an improvement this game, but not the electrifying superstar like we had last year...not YET.

Titans Free Agency Update
According to multiple sources, the Seahawks will NOT re-sign QB Matt Hasselbeck, making him a free agent. With McNabb most likely going to the Vikings, Kolb likely packing his bags to Arizona, Palmer retiring, and Kyle Orton possibly going to the Dolphins, the race for a QB has narrowed down to two choices for Tennessee at Quarterback: Matt Hasselbeck and Marc Bulger.Hasselbeck would demand more money, but is a better fit and has more of a chance to go to the Titans.
MY PREDICTION is this: Matt Hasselbeck signs a 2 year deal with the Tennessee Titans.

2011 MLB All-Star Game Prediction
2010 ASG Result:
NL- 3
AL- 1
Starting Pitching Match-up:
NL: Roy Halladay, Phillies
AL: Jered Weaver, Angels
Prediction:
NL- 4
AL- 2
Analysis:
The AL is missing key pitchers in Lester, King Felix, Verlander,Price, Sabathia, and Mariano Rivera who all dropped out of the game or are injured; as well as the Yankees' A-Rod and Jeter. With the now weak AL pitching staff and less dynamic offense, the AL will struggle, and with the NL having pitchers like Tim Lincecum and Cliff Lee to picth after Halladay, the NL has the clear advantage. NL wins 4-2.

2011 NHL Stanley Cup Finals
2011 NHL Stanley Cup Finals Prediction:
Vancouver Canucks over Boston Bruins in 6 games
Champion: CANUCKS
Key match-ups: The two goaltenders Luongo and Thomas and the power play of both teams will be key factors in who wins this series, but the Canucks are the most complete team and I would be very surprised to see the Bruins pull off the upset.

2011 NBA Finals Analysis and Prediction
ADVANTAGES:
PG- Mavericks
SG- Heat
SF- Heat
PF- Mavericks
C- Mavericks
Bench- Mavericks
Coaching- Heat
Match ups- Heat
Defense- Heat
Athleticism/ Speed- Heat
Questions:
Can the Heat continue their strong streak of closing out games?
Who will guard Dirk?
How will the Mavs defend the Heat's high scoring attack?
Prediction:
HEAT over Mavericks in 7 games.
The Mavs shooting and their leadership under their veterans Dirk and Jason Kidd will not be enough, as the Mavericks won't be able to guard the Heat's big 3 with their deficiency in athleticism and speed. The Heat's elite defense will do enough to contain Dirk. This has the looks of a 7 game series, and look for the Heat to win!

Biggest Riser:

Notes:
Look for the Redskins to potentially move up in the draft and select Blaine Gabbert, that's a possibility.
The Falcons look like they will try to move up in the draft, along with the Eagles.
Look for Quarterback needy teams to trade into the second half of the 1st round from about picks 24-32 to draft their QB they want.
Lastly, I would be shocked if the Patriots didn't trade out of their second pick in the 1st round, #28.
